Privacy is a core principle of Contríto. In short: your personal content stays only on your device, and we collect only anonymous usage data to improve the app.

1. Content that stays only on your device

Everything you record in the app — sins, falls, notes, journal entries, the name of your dominant fault, quiz results, and any name you enter — is stored locally on your device and never sent to us or to any third party. We have no access to this content. When you uninstall the app, this data is removed from the device.

2. Anonymous usage data

To understand how the app is used and to improve it, we collect anonymous usage data through the analytics service Mixpanel. This data includes, for example: screens visited, usage events (such as completing onboarding), platform (iOS/Android), app version, and language.

There is no login or account in the app. A random, anonymous identifier is generated per installation, solely to group usage events. This identifier contains no name, email, or any personal content, and a new one is created if the app is reinstalled.

We never send the analytics service the personal content described in item 1 (sins, journal entries, entered names, etc.).

3. Notifications

If you enable reminders, the app schedules local notifications on your own device. These do not involve sending personal data to any server.

4. Sharing with third parties

We do not sell or share your data. The only third party involved is our analytics provider (Mixpanel), which processes exclusively the anonymous usage data described above.

5. Your rights and controls

Since your personal content stays on your device, you have direct control over it: you can delete it within the app or remove it entirely by uninstalling the app. For privacy questions or requests, write to us at contato@forgefy.app.

6. Children

Contríto is intended for a general audience and does not knowingly collect personally identifiable data from children.

7. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The current version will always be available on this page, along with the date of the last update.
